Back from Tw yesterday..too tired to post due to little sleep n long flight hours..
The trip was from 25 Nov(my sgt test day!)-1 dec.So didn't go for the test n missed the chance of being sgt.Anyway..go le not confirm pass..hahas.
DAY 1
Woke up at 10 +..reach the airport at 12+ n board the plane at 3.The flight took around 3 hrs?Every seat has an entertainment player where u can either watch movies,listen to music or play games.Watched a car racing movie which i thought was tokyo drift.hahas..jack sia.Wanted to play game but the player was faulty..so sad..
Not long after,every other players at other seats hang too..
Went to HongXi hotel..Recognized as the best hotel by the tour members.Best breakfast served and beautiful layouts.
And guess wad? my tour grp consists of 17 ppl oni....of which 12 is my relatives' relatives, relatives & my family~
DAY 2
1st stop to Ye Liu Stone Park....a place where the stones sculptures are formed naturally due to weathering caused by the wind and the sea~ hmm....nth much hahax.....took pics oni~
then TaiPei---->Hua Lien
we went to watch a performance by the ah mei zu(tribe)..Their dances r quite entertaining..and there's a part when audiences are invited on stage to dance....gt a uncle funny sia....he sit 1st row then see those ppl beside him all kanna invited....he quickly run away~ =D
Lucky never get forced to go up n dance..me too shy le.
DAY 3
Went to Swallow grotto.Basically a mountain with holes where swallows used to live.Now no more swallows le..so,whats the point ?haha
then went to a centre selling Ling Zhi(some parts of a deer)......after a brief introduction..they tried to convince everyone into buying.However none of us in the tour bought.Too exp le.We go tour where got bring so much money right?somemore oni day 3 leix.Next,They offered us drink the ling zhi tea..then everyone feel that its not worth,so they went out...leaving the saleswomen sad.
Went to the Biggest jade factory in taiwan.The lady there showed us thru the makings n carvings of jade sculptures n we went to this place to look around for nice pendants,earings,etc..
Bought a heart-shaped pendant for the someone special..
haha..i noe my hands shud be straighter..
Then to the caves of eight immortals..
A 1.5hr hike.Each cave consists sort of a temple..It was tiring climbing the stairs.
Then to the hot spring resort.In our schedule,we shud hab gone to the hotspring at the resort.Time is limited..so we went out to the streets to shop instead...Actualli quite regretted not going there..It could hav been a nice experience eh?Nvm..i will go try it out on my next trip?hahas.then still quite early,so go to the arcade for basketball shootings.Those machines were similar to that of singapore.In taiwan..it is common to find basketball n catching bear bear machines outside shops.
Day 4..GAO XIONG
Went to Fo Guang Shan..There is a huge buddha with hundreds of smaller buddhas..Took pics at this holy ground.
Next to this pearl "factory" where they sell accessories of pearls n powdered pearl for beautiful complexiom n health.
Then to dragon tiger pagodas..not dragon tiger gates..hahas.
Around 6 or 7pm..The sky was dark..At this time in sg,sky is still quite bright,so had a cruise ride down love river..had a beautiful view of the lighted cities along the river..
Went to liu he night market..quite nice to shop but was oni given 1.5 hr...
Day 5---Alishan..Ali's mountain?(go ask mich)haha.
It was freezing cold.6 degrees.. Can see steam coming out of mouth when i blow..(jux the same feeling when i was in korea)
Some of the tress there had interesting names like 3bros,4 sisters,Dragon n Poneix,Xin Lian Xin..Basically due to their natural structures...

rThen To Sun Moon lake owned by the Shao Zu...smallest tribe in taiwan..260 ppl oni.Some r conferred Prince Consort n Princess..Quite cool eh>?They introed us to the beauty of having honey..Again,they were too expensive..So..none of us bought..Leaving the royal ppl disappointed.
Next to Wen Wu Miao(temple)
Nth much ba~
Had dinner at this beautiful restaurant by the name of Wu Jiao Chuan Ban(5 cent driftwood house).The food served r quite nice..n the ambience rocks..The restaurant is sort of a huge cave with rocks strutures...very natural~
Then to feng jia ye shi(night market)
Bought a green long sleeve shirt which i find it nice..Time is limited...sianz..Went back to hotel le..heard that we can use the coms there..So together with my bro n cousin,we went to ask for coms.To our laughter,there r two coms there..1 of them cannot use n the other without internet connection.Someone the lady there says mayb due to the rain..lols..
Day 6---Most fruitful day
Went to the national museum where it showcases artefacts n history records.To most teenagers,it is a boring place..Next is Zhong zheng ji nian tang..It is a place to commemorate someone(forgot who)
Next to Zhong Lie Chi,a place where u can see 4 soldiers standing motionlessly with tourists taking pictures..We were lucky to catch them changing shifts as they marched down...
Next to Miramar entertainment park where there is the 2nd biggest or highest ferris mill on the shopping mall..saw a orange adidas jacket which i fancy..but size not correct..too skinny le..sianz
Didn't took the ferris mill as i heard nid to wait for 0.5hr..Time too limited le..so cannot...
Next to a shop selling Tien Lu..an auspicious item which can ward off bad luck.bought 1..
Taipei 101..ur next...World's tallest building..realli damn high sia..
Went to Shi Lin Ye Shi(sheltered night market)..A place known for delicious food..Ate A spicy chicken piece..Damn Hot sia..but good experience.Then went to play the games stall there..tried the mini basketball shootouts..There r 12 mini balls n we had to score 5 balls into the basket to get a soft toy..i scored none..-_-
Next to the best nightmarket...XI MEN TING!!
Bought mich's vcd there last min..hahas cos not much time to shop in the previous days..The shops close early at 11..so no choice but to shop awhile oni..sad..-_-
Bought a cap..partly on impulse..
Final Day:
Woke up at 4+?Had to catch the early flight..Went to 7 eleven n bought some chips b4 boarding the bus at 6..With 77 tai bucks spent..u can get a stamp at 7 eleven.Collect 5 stamps n u can get a doraemon figurine.Managed to get 5 in the 7 days..but that 7 eleven no more stocks!!ahh..wasted..
Board the bus n went to this shop selling local products..mum bought quite a lot..for her friends?
Going to the departure hall..
Waiting for flight...
Again..the entertainment player on the plane hanged..China airline not that good..preferred singapore airline which i took to korea few years ago...
The tour..i rate it 6 out of 10..THE TOUR..NOT TAIWAN..taiwan is nice..jux that not enuff time to shop..If ur going taiwan..dun go on tour orh..go free n easy better..^ ^..jux my 5 cents...TAIWAN ROX
