1o Nov,sat,yesterday,i went on a cip trip as a npcc cadet to Lee Ah Mooi Old Folk's Home.Went with a positive mindset although flashes of them being fierce and unfriendly appear in my mind on the bus.We brought packets of food for them.
Well,Quite pleased with myself for being able to communicate a little with some elderly.A little about the elderly there....Some are being abandoned by their children,some has no money,others do not have their family.From what i found out,They do nothing much in the home,basically do morning exercise,eat,watch tv,stare into space n sleep.
Feeling quite sad for them.They will feel bored...n i also heard from them that the elderly actualli do not realli tok to each other.Life for them must be realli pitiful.I feel for them,and saw with my own eyes their lifestyle.They live in an area with stench(urine).
I think most of them are quite happy that we visited them.Some whom i approached,do not realli wish to talk.Haix,we jux wish to have a time of listening n chatting with them......
Chatted with this uncle..Felt a lil great...tis feeling...Nvr had it b4....mayb becos i hav nvr got a chance to tok to my grandpa....
